The Presentation : Chapter 13-7

There also was a prophetess, St. Anna who was a daughter of Phanuel of the tribe of Asher, after her girlhood she lived seven years with her husband. She was a widow of about eighty-four years old, and she never left the temple, but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. She came to them, and she gave thanks to the Lord God, and she talked about Him to all those who were looking for the redemption in Jerusalem.
