He permitted no one followed Him except St. Peter, St. James, and St. John. When He came to the house of St. Jairus, He saw confusion and those who wept and wailed loudly, so He said to them. “Why do you make this confusion and wailing? The child is not dead, but only sleeping.”
イエズスは、聖ヨハネ、聖ヤコブ、聖ペトロたちと一緒に聖ヤイロの家に着きました。 人々が泣き叫んでいたので家の中に入ってからイエズスが彼らに言いました。 「なぜあなたたちは泣き叫ぶのですか。子供は死んだのではなく眠っているだけです。」 　人々はイエズスをあざ笑いました。
